Completed Tasks 2023-2024
- Launched A&C Canvas Pathway site which includes Support & Belonging and Academic & Career Pathways in Spring 2024.
- Collaborated with Canvas designer to create A&C Canvas site that is accessible and mobile friendly. Feedback was solicited from CoP, Steering Committee and student ambassadors to guide Canvas design.
- Launched Global Announcements to communicate with all students in Canvas about important supports, resources, and events.
- Collaborated with Chabot and District in the development of Ellucian Advise Dashboards by pathway.
- Collaborated with Chabot and District in the development of the first communication message in Ellucian Advise to students who do not have a comprehensive student education plan (SEP).
- Developed messaging for a second communication message related to Math concurrent support.
- Planned and facilitated College Day sessions to look at A&C Pathways data.
- Facilitated College Day sessions to update our Program Maps to be legislative AB 1705/928 compliant by recommending a math course and supports.
- Lead Flex Day workshops to support our Academic & Career Pathways.
- Student Ambassadors provided design and user experience feedback on the LPC mobile app, pathway icons, and Canvas shell.
- Student Ambassadors started an LPC Ambassador Student Club, focusing on providing training and outreach to fellow students who want to advocate for and support their peers through club and LPC outreach and student life events.
- Identified updates and redesign for the online orientation for new students
13. Participated and collaborated on the development of 4 year Program Maps (EBCAN). - Represented/tabled A&C Pathways at LPC outreach events, such as LPC Preview Night, Open House and New Hawk’s Day.
- Collaborated with campus technology to help facilitate the integration of Trumba as a single location for events and important dates at LPC.
- Collaborated with Student Services to develop the Illustrated Pathway Guide.
- Collaborated with Classified Senate to develop Caring Campus Flex Day sessions and Classified Support Resources for Pathway Student Success Teams.
- Reviewed and updated the PPM institutionalization process to better serve students and staff on campus.
- Attended PPM user group gatherings to learn about and implement new features of PPM here on our campus; ex. Milestone cards, external links to campus web pages.
- Reviewed and updated career information on Lightcast (Career Coach) to add new programs, update TOP codes/career mappings, and include additional information about the college inclusive of contact information for Outreach. Lightcast (Career Coach) widgets for Pathway Student Success Team web pages were updated.

- Annual Guided Pathways Scale of Adoption Self-Assessment Report for 2020-2021 was submitted and approved by the State of California Chancellor’s Office. We have met this year's targets for our work.
- Our budget for Guided Pathways work, as provided by the State and through a SCFF Project, is balanced for the 2020-2021 year.
- A Guided Pathways website is maintained with monthly updates on our work, projects, presentations, agendas and minutes. Our Student Team writes regular updates on the website and monthly slide deck for the campus and community to read regarding how our work impacts students.
- Regular updates are given monthly to all Divisions, Academic and Classified Senates, College Council, and the Student Equity and Achievement Committee and Student Services Workgroup.
- Regular professional development opportunities included FLEX Day presentations in Fall and Spring semesters, monthly Community of Practice on Student Success Teams for the campus and development of pilot Canvas shells for each of our Academic & Career Pathways plus Undecided.
- Program Mapper institutionalization is being institutionalized, with all program maps updated with effective Fall 2022 curriculum.
- Las Positas College applied and was accepted for an IEPI PRT grant with work starting this February.
- LPC CA Demonstration Project design process changes continue in our second of three years.
- Collaboration with East Bay CAN initiative and four-year mapping with Cal State East Bay has occurred and is continuing with our top 11 disciplines.
- Collaboration with local high schools through the Tri-Valley Educational Collaborative for program mapping links from high school pathways to our LPC programs.
- Career Coach Phase 2 Spring 2023 FLEX Day session to increase the linking of our programs with careers.
- “My Pathway Checklist” now includes key milestones with links for students with academic goals of earning an Associate, Transfer, Certificate or short-term learning goal.
- Collaboration with Caring Campus to provide campus-wide support and training on how to update employee Profile Directory page to provide contact information and welcome introduction.
- Comprehensive vision for a “Communication Flow Plan based on Student Data” was completed and collaborated on with key groups around campus, including SEA, MLEA, Student Services Workgroup, Academic and Classified Senates.
- Onboarding process improvements include changes to CCCApply to include interest areas (Academic & Career Pathway major groups) and Steps to Success support.
- The Persistence Project continues to grow in participating faculty and student satisfaction.

- Academic and Career Program Pathways were developed and approved Spring 2021.
- Program Mapper was approved and implemented Spring 2021, with an institutionalization process in place. Support for East Bay CAN Initiative and four-year mapping with Cal State East Bay.
- Career Coach was approved and implemented Spring 2021, with an institutionalization process in place.
- The onboarding process has been redesigned to reflect steps to success for different student types. Students can now monitor progress through the onboarding process in ClassWeb. Onboarding includes course and career assessment, with links to academic and student support. Continuous improvement in this area is ongoing.
- The Persistence Project started Spring 2021 with a cohort of 40+ faculty and classified participants and has continued to grow every semester with 66 faculty engaged this Spring 2022. Between Fall 21 to Spring 22, we have seen 78% persistence for students who were in Persistence Project courses versus 75% persistence for students in non-persistence project courses. This 3% difference is also an improvement over Spring 21 to Fall 21 when we saw 60% PP persistence vs. 59% non-PP persistence.
- LPC was selected to be a CA Demonstration Project College. We have started our design process to develop Success Teams in our Program Pathways - a three year process.
