Fall Flex Day - October 20, 2020!
We are excited to announce that all three of our Fall FLEX Day Proposals were approved! Please join us for some EXCITING conversations that will move our work forward!
Sessions:
- Persistence
- Career and Academic Communities. 2:00 - 3:50pm
Imagine:
- Student who apply to LPC choose an area of study based on their interests.
- Students explore related fields, careers, pathways, programs, courses.
- Instructional and counseling faculty, classified professionals, and peers work together to support students.
- Students receive intentional interventions along their journey, to help them meet academic and career preparedness milestones.
Join us as we finalize our work on defining our Academic and Career Communities!

Join us as we explore different career platforms designed to assist undecided students. We will seek your feedback about the platforms and how they can be applied in Career Exploration. No technology or career counseling background necessary!

A community college our size, with similar demographics, started a faculty-driven, inexpensive initiative that had a huge impact! Persistence project that saw retention rates jump on average 24% and faculty satisfaction increase with participation. Join us this Spring 2021 as we start our own persistence project to have a substantial, positive impact on our students and in our community!
