Schedule an Appointment with a Veterans Counselor
To schedule an appointment with a Veterans Counselor, please make sure you have the
following things done. Without any of the following completed, an appointment cannot
be made, regardless if this will delay VA benefits. If you have any questions, please
contact the LPC Veterans Office.
Due to Shelter in Place, all Veterans Counselor appointments and drop ins are done virtually. For more information visit here
- All official transcripts from any other colleges must be received by Admissions and Records
- For new students, Guided Self-Placement Math/English Assessment must be completed, unless you have attended any other colleges and have taken a Math/English Assessment or have taken Math or English at the other college. For the Guided Self-Placement Assessment, please visit: http://www.laspositascollege.edu/assessmentcenter/index.php
- Schedule a one hour appointment with a Veterans Counselor for a complete Educational Plan (Ed Plan). Only courses on the Ed Plan may be certified for VA Educational Benefits.
- If an appointment is scheduled, do not miss it, but if you cannot attend please contact the Veterans Resource Center at 925.424.1570 to reschedule. Due to the limited and valuable counseling time, missing an appointment may prevent appointments in the future.
