Disbursements & Refund Dates
We have partnered with BankMobile & Vibe to help deliver your refund as fast as possible. Refund choices include:
- DEPOSIT TO AN EXISTING ACCOUNT – Money is transferred to an existing account the same business day we receive funds from your school. Typically, it takes 1- 2 business days to credit the money to your account.
- DEPOSIT TO A BANKMOBILE VIBE CHECKING ACCOUNT – If you open a BankMobile Vibe Checking Account (upon identity verification), money is deposited the same business day we receive funds from your school

Refund Dates
-
Refund Date:
This is the day when your refund money is scheduled to be sent to your chosen refund account. -
How It Works:
Your funds will be wired through BankMobile Disbursements, a service powered by BMTX, Inc.
-
Disbursement Date vs. Refund Date:
The date shown on Class-Web is when the funds are disbursed, not when you receive your refund. -
Processing Time:
Refunds typically take about one week after the disbursement date to process before the funds appear in your chosen refund account. -
Refund Options:
If you do not select a refund option, a check will be mailed to your provided mailing address.
- If you enroll in late-start classes, financial aid for those specific classes will not be disbursed until the week the classes begin
-
Determining Your Pell Grant Amount:
- Your Pell grant amount depends on how many units you take.
- Full-Time Enrollment (12+ units):
You receive the full Pell grant award. - Less Than Full-Time:
Your award is prorated based on the number of units you’re enrolled in.
-
Check Your Eligibility:
- Use the Pell Grant Chart (link provided on the left) to see your eligibility.
- The chart uses your Expected Family Contribution (EFC) and your units of enrollment.
-
Payment Timing:
- Once you complete your financial aid file, you will be paid on the Refund (Payment) date.
-
Withdrawal & Repayment Rules (Return to Title IV):
- If you withdraw after earning 60% or more of your Pell grant, you do not owe any repayment.
- If you earn zero units (resulting in a 0 GPA) in a term, you may have to repay unearned funds—unless you can show you remained in class past the 60% point of the term.
