Math Jam & Concurrent Support Registration
Jam to Success in your Math Class in 2 Simple Steps!
Step 1
Become a Las Positas College student. If you are already a Las Positas College student, have your W-Number ready. If you are not yet a Las Positas College student, complete the online Las Positas College Application for Admission to receive your W-Number (student ID).
Step 2
Register for classes on ClassWeb/MyPortal when your registration window is open.
You must register for your Math class and Math Jam (before) and/or Concurrent Support (during) for support that meets your learning needs. On Class-Web/MyPortal, you will have to choose noncredit NMAT or credit MATH. NMAT is the subject "Noncredit Math at LPC" (image below).
*If you are required to enroll in a Concurrent Support class based on Guided Self-Placement, while registering you will need to in select your Concurrent Support class before you can select your Math class.
Select support options based on your Math Class:
- SLAM Support for STAT-C1000 (formerly MATH 40): Statistics & Probability, MATH 47: Liberal Arts Math, and MATH 33: Finite Mathematics
- BSTEM Support for MATH 21: PreCalculus, MATH 39: Trigonometry, MATH 34: Business Calculus
- MATH 1: Calculus 1 Support
- MATH 2: Calculus 2 Support
- MATH 3: Calculus 3 Support
Support for STAT-L40 (C1000- formerly MATH 40): Statistics and Probability, MATH 47: Math for Liberal Arts, and MATH 33: Finite Mathematics:
