Important Information
- We have made instructional videos that shows SLO coordinators how to set up assessments and what happens when instructors input their data for their sections. This will be particularly useful for those who were unable to attend one of our Flex Day workshops. In addition, there is a separate video that just shows faculty how to enter their data and answer the planning/reflection questions. You can find both videos below. We suggest linking the data entry video in the email reminders to your faculty.
- Once you have created the assessments, your faculty may receive an automated email from CurrIQunet informing them that they have a task to complete. They do not need to take any immediate action. Just as in the past, SLO coordinators should remind faculty towards the end of the semester that they should complete their SLO assessments after submitting their final grades.
- If you plan on assessing multiple SLOs for the same course, be sure to do so within the same “aggregate assessment,” rather than creating multiple aggregate assessments for the same course (you are able to select more than one SLO when you create the aggregate assessment).
- We have noticed assessments for some course sections are not being generated when the course aggregate assessment is created. We have been working with CurrIQunet to determine the source and extent of the issue. So far it we have only identified a small number of courses that have experienced this problem. But in light of this, be sure to note whether assessments are created for all sections when creating your aggregate assessments (you will see a list of course sections populate once you select the course and semester for the aggregate assessment). If you notice that any sections are not showing up, please let John Rosen and/or Alaina Osuka know.
SLO Assessment Support Videos
This video is designed specifically for SLO Coordinators and provides a step-by-step walkthrough of how to access and complete assessments in CurrIQunet Meta. It includes an updated introduction showing where to locate CurrIQunet from the campus homepage, guidance on selecting all applicable SLOs for data recording, and added pop-ups/narration explaining how to interpret and address multiple outcomes within the assessment questions. The video also demonstrates what these outcomes look like on the data entry page to help ensure accurate and consistent reporting.
Faculty - Individual Section Level Assessments
