DSPS Services
An Academic Accommodation Plan (AAP) is developed for students which links individual goals and curricular programs with appropriate academic adjustments, auxiliary aids, services and/or instruction that is related to educational limitations.
Examples of services available through DSPS that are over and above those regularly offered by the college would include, but are not limited to:
- Extended test-taking facilitation
- Reduced distraction testing
- Specialized counseling
- Interpreter services for hearing-impaired or deaf students
- Braille and embossing services
- Note taking services
- Screen reader services
- Audio books
- Voice to text technology
- Specialized tutoring
- Adaptive equipment
- Registration assistance
- Priority registration
- Use of the high tech center for students to study
