- Apply to LPC and complete the Steps to Success
- Login to Class-Web with your Student ID (W#) to:
- Complete your orientation.
- Take assessments.
- Create a personalized first semester plan with your Pathway Counselor.
- Register/Enroll in your classes.
- Pay your fees.
- Apply for Financial Aid (FAFSA or Dream Act Application).
- Purchase/Rent your textbook(s).
- Access Canvas.
- Use the cost of college calculator to estimate the real cost of attending Las Positas College.
- Explore your Academic & Career Pathway.
- Meet your student success team.
- View course sequencing and discover student supports.
- Undecided on your major/career? There is a pathway for you!
- Take a career assessment in Career Coach and create a profile to discuss your options with your Pathway counselor.
- Make an appointment with your Pathway Counselor to create a comprehensive Student Educational Plan (SEP).
- Talk to your Financial Aid advisor to understand your Las Positas College Financial Aid package.
- Tour the Tutorial Center.
- Create a profile for the LPC job and internship board (Handshake).
- Schedule an appointment at the Career Center (Building 1600) to research and prepare for your career.
- Visit the Transfer Center (Building 1600) to research transfer schools and the transfer process.
- Apply for Financial Aid (due March 2nd) - (FAFSA or Dream Act Application).
- Join a student club or LPC's Student Government.
- Meet with your Pathway Counselor to confirm your major, learn about transfer, and Transfer Admission Guarantees.
- Build a resume on Career Coach.
- Create a LinkedIn profile.
- Add transfer tasks to your calendar.
- Schedule tours with colleges you are interested in transferring to in-person or virtually (CSU/UC).
- Apply for transfer (UC / CSU Applications 10/1 - 11/30).
- Research and apply for internships/jobs on the LPC job and internship board (Handshake) and visit the Career Center & Transfer Center (Building 1600).
- Apply for Graduation in the beginning of the semester (if you’re obtaining an Associate’s degree/certificate).
- Apply for Financial Aid (due March 2nd) - (FAFSA or Dream Act Application).
- Meet with a Financial Aid advisor to plan for college after transfer.
- Complete scholarship applications (due in March).
- Apply for Graduation.
- Sign up to attend Commencement ceremony.
- Let LPC know where you are going after graduation/transfer and become part of our Alumni Network!
