Career Planning and College Transfer Opportunities

The Administration of Justice program at Las Positas College provides pathways for students seeking employment in the criminal justice field. The Associate of Arts (AA) degree helps prepare students for direct entry into the workforce, and the Associate in Science for Transfer (AS-T) degree prepares students who want to transfer to a four-year college or university.

The Career and Transfer Center provides career exploration, employment and career related information. Students may also request an appointment with a counselor for career exploration guidance and educational planning.

Las Positas College provides students with Guaranteed Transfer programs for those who qualify to all California State University (CSU) and most University of California (UC) campuses plus a growing number of private and out-of-state universities.
The Las Positas College Transfer Center is available to help students learn more about four-year colleges and universities by providing academic counseling, personalized appointments with four-year college and university admission representatives, and transfer events.
