Workshops

LPC instructors and staff are invited to ongoing workshops designed to help you effectively engage students with instructional technology. These trainings, hosted by your CLPCCD Instructional Technology teams and our partners, are offered throughout the year to provide timely support and upskilling.

Important Notes

  • Most workshops are hosted by the CLPCCD Instructional Technology Teams at Las Positas and Chabot Colleges. You may also see workshops hosted by our partners, like webinars hosted by the CVC@ONE or Hypothesis, our instructional technology for social, digital annotation.
  • Trainings are typically eligible for faculty flex credit. Please check with your Division Administrative Assistant and/or Dean with questions about flex credit eligibility.
  • While the majority of the workshops listed on our calendar are free to attend as an LPC employee, this calendar occasionally helps us promote conferences we think may be of interest. Learn more about conference funding opportunities at LPC.
  • As a CCC employee, you can also access the Vision Resource Center, billed as a one-stop site to effective practices, trainings, and other resources.
  • The Foundation for California Community Colleges, through its CollegeBuys program, offers discounted software to LPC faculty and staff to install on their home computers.
