Dual Enrollment HOME
Partnerships with Local School Districts
Dual Enrollment at Las Positas College offers HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS an early start on their career technical education and opportunities to earn units toward their college degree. We partner with high school districts in Dublin, Livermore, and Pleasanton, including Tri-Valley ROP, to promote educational equity by offering empowering, transformative educational experiences to local high school students. We also have a CCAP Agreement for Welding with the San Ramon Valley USD that we started in Fall 2023.
Dual Enrollment courses:
...help families save money on college tuition AND get a head start on college.
...give students with an advantage as they learn how to be successful college students—preparing them for an easier transition.
...are a great way to learn about different fields of study and explore academic and career options.
...meet your A–G requirements and possibly get dual credit.
Get ahead in high school by earning college credits while also completing UC and CSU general education requirements!
