Student Concerns: Help for Staff
Concerned about what you have witnessed in a student's behavior or class work? The College has processes in place to support you.
Student Code of Conduct - Faculty and Staff may want to take time to read and understand the Student Code of Conduct. The Code of Conduct webpage includes:
- Guidelines for Addressing Disruptive Behavior
 - Policies on Expulsion, Suspension, and Probation
 - Definitions, Rules, and Procedures
 
Incident Referral Forms - For most concerning behavior, staff members can and should use one of several Incident Referral Forms. Forms can be submitted for support with each of the following:
- Academic Integrity Violations
 - Discipline Issues,
 - Mental Health Concerns
 - Violations of Title IX
 
Behavioral Intervention Response Team (BIRT) – For the most serious of concerns, or concerns for which a staff member desires consultation, the college has a group of skilled individuals here to support you.
