Fall 2026 Admissions: Las Positas College 2025–26 Transfer Timeline
Important Dates for University of California (UC) and California State University (CSU) Transfer Students
August (Fall)
- UC: August 1 – UC Application Opens. Begin working on UC Personal Insight Questions .
September
- UC: September 1–30 – UC Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG) Application Due. Submit TAG to one campus. Review the TAG Matrix . Use the UC Transfer Admission Planner (TAP).
- CSU: By September 15 – Submit Degree/Certificate Application petition for AA‑T/AS‑T (A&R Forms) to LPC’s A&R office if completing ADT by end of Fall.
October
- CSU: October 1–November 30 – Submit CSU Application for Fall 2026 Admission (Cal State Apply).
- CSU/UC: Financial Aid – Submit FAFSA (if open). AB540/Undocumented students: Submit California Dream Act Application (if open).
November
- CSU/UC: November 1–30 – Submit regular UC applications (UC Application) and CSU applications (Cal State Apply).
- Private/Out‑of‑State Universities – Check each institution’s transfer admissions webpage.
December
- LPC Scholarships – Begin working on Personal Statement. Scholarship info: LPC Scholarships.
January (Spring)
- CSU/UC: By January 31 – Priority Deadline for UC/CSU Application Updates. Log into your UC/CSU accounts to report Fall grades and update Spring schedule.
- Check LPC Scholarships periodically: Scholarship Portal.
February
- Meet with a Counselor to review remaining degree/transfer requirements.
- Check your university accounts for document deadlines.
- By February 15 – Submit AA‑T/AS‑T petition (A&R Forms).
- For CSU East Bay – Send official LPC transcript. Transcript ordering: LPC Transcripts.
March
- March 2 – Deadline to submit FAFSA or California Dream Act Application for 2026–27.
April
- CSU/UC: Admissions decisions released on a rolling basis.
- Finish all required courses with a C or better (some UC campuses may require a B).
- Check LPC graduation info: LPC Graduation.
May
- By May 1 – Submit ONE Statement of Intent to Register (SIR) to the university you will attend.
- By May 15 – Submit General Education Certification Request (A&R Forms).
June
- By June 15 – Submit final transcript request (LPC Transcript Request). Order transcripts from all other colleges, high school, and AP/IB providers.
July
- By July 1 – Confirm all required documents were sent to your university.
- Attend orientation. Review your university’s catalog, programs, calendar, housing, and majors.
