Puente Más Course Sequence

The Puente Project is a one-year commitment linking English, Math, and Psychology-Counseling classes to increase the number of educationally underserved students who:

• Enroll in four-year institutions
• Earn college degrees
• Return to the community as leaders and mentors

Fall Semester

• ENG 1A – Critical Reading and Composition (3 units)                                                  Transfer: CSU/UC, CSU GE: A2; IGETC: 1A
• MATH 40 or 30 or 39 or 1–Statistics & Liberal Arts or STEM Pathway (4-5 units)  Transfer: CSU/UC, CSU GE: B4; IGETC: 2
• PCN 30 – Student Success and Experience (3 units)                                                      Transfer: CSU/UC, CSU GE: E
• LIBR 1 – Working with Sources (1 units)                                                                            Transfer: CSU/UC

Spring Semester
