Course Evaluation
During the semester in which you teach your first distance education course—or if you are up for review—you will be evaluated as per the guidelines in article 19F of the faculty contract. This is an official evaluation in which a trained evaluator will tour your course with you, view your course alone, complete the Observation of Instruction form, and after your students are surveyed, present the results to you.
After the tour of your course, you will be responsible for adding the evaluator in your course, then removing that person at the end of the evaluation period. While the evaluator is in your course, they will only be able to view specific content. Unless you voluntarily agree, the evaluator will only be able to access your course for a maximum of 72 hours.
