Tasks for 2023-2024

  • April 2023: Shared Institution-Set Standards and the Annual Financial Report
  • April 2023: Committee members shared experiences serving on Peer Review Teams
  • September 2023: Reviewed training documents and videos related to adopted 2024 Accreditation Standards and began planning work of committee; reviewed and annotated the standards
  • December 2023: Voted to revise membership of the ACS and did planning for spring; reviewed the mid-term report template
  • January 2024: Reported to College Council and SLO committee regarding accreditation standards and midterm report; reviewed and revised the Shared Governance Worksheet for 2024-2025, including increasing representation of voting members and clarification of responsibilities.
  • February/March 2024: Developed draft of timeline and milestones for mid-term report; reported on status of Substantive Change inquiry and application

Tasks for 2022-2023

  • Provided regular updates on the status of the ISER process.
  • Prepared campus for Focused site visit, hosting a "trial run."
  • Participated in the focused site visit.
  • Reviewed 2024 proposed ACCJC Standards—begun sharing implications to appropriate shared governance committee.
  • ALO reviewed Comprehensive Review Report for errors of fact.
  • Celebrated outcome of ISER Review—7 years!
  • Discussed the stewardship of the QFE.
  • Reviewed request for Annual Report.

Tasks for 2021-2022

  • (summer--September) Refined Institutional Self Evaluation Report through evidence gathering, validation of alignment with Standards, finalization of improvement plans, and editing. 
  • (August) Attended District Accreditation Coordinating Committee
  • (August) Refined the formatting and cover art of ISER
  • (September-October) Created and posted a Constituent Review form and solicited feedback to verify that standards were thorough, accurate, concise yet complete. 
  • (October) Completed constituency review of ISER with students, classified, administrative and faculty leaders. 
  • (November) Shared reflection, by standards, from accreditation process with campus community
  • (November) Provided high level findings to Board of Trustees
  • (December) Compiled evidence, formatted TOC, and submitted Institutional Self-Evaluation Report to ACCJC Novato office. 
  • (Jan-February) Prepared presentation with Peer Review Team during Meet and Greet
  • (Feb-March) Moved forward a process to capture accreditation mapping in Shared Governance Handbook 

Tasks for 2020-2021

  • Attended Accreditation Kick off meeting on August 25th to start ISER process
  • Formed Standard teams with adminstrative, faculty, & classified professional
  • Formulated method for reviewing and writing ISER narrative and compiling evidence representation.
  • Shared and discussed drafts
  • Coordinated with District on Function & Task Map; Attended District Accreditation meetings
  • Suggested institutional improvements based on review of college materials, process and policie
  • Sought additional consultation and training from ACCJC as needed
  • Shared progress at Town meetings and College Council
  • Provided questions and feedback to Staff and Student Survey
