Process for Enrolling in Auditing/Lifelong Learning Academy Courses

  1. Determine which sections, if any, of your courses will be available for students to audit
  2. Submit your course list to Dean

  1. Submit course list to VP Academic Services prior to registration for the term.

  1. VP Academic Services reviews and approves list
  2. VP Academic Services sends to webmaster
  3. Webmaster updates Lifelong Learning Academy website with class list and any other updates for term

  1. Please refer to Administrative Policy 4070 for information about Auditing and Auditing Fees.
  2. Review Lifelong Learning Academy Course List
  3. If course is listed, apply for Admission to Las Positas College if not already admitted
  4. Complete Lifelong Learning Academy Audit Enrollment Form
  5. Forms must be submitted prior to the course census date found here.
  6. Submit form to Division Office by email. Click here for Division contact information.
  7. The Division Office will route the form for enrollment processing based on space availability.
  8. Admissions & Records will notify student by email with enrollment confirmation and payment instructions by the second week of the term.

  1. Review form and if space is available, sign off Lifelong Learning Academy Enrollment Form (pdf)
  2. Consult with faculty/faculty coordinator as needed
  3. Submit to VP Academic Services

  1. Review and sign form.
  2. Send to Academic Services Curriculum and Scheduling Specialist

  1. Review form and create CRN for course section
  2. Send form and CRN information to Admissions & Records

  1. Review form and adjust fees as needed ($30/course, $1/additional course)
  2. Enroll student
  3. Notify student they are enrolled and payment due

  1. Pay for course with Admissions and Records
