Hello, current and prospective students.
I am Reena Singh. I hold a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Texas State University and another in Computer Applications from India. I also worked as a Java developer in India's private sector for several years. I have a deep passion for computer science and data science education, and I joined Las Positas College as an Adjunct Faculty member in Fall 2023. Currently, I teach Computing Fundamentals 2 (CS2) and support students in the Computer Science department. CS2 is a transferable course, and I am dedicated to mentoring my students as they work toward transferring to four-year colleges and universities, particularly through the Honors Transfer Program, which I joined in Spring 2024. I am also part of the Honors Faculty Hub and serve as the advisor for the Robotics Club this semester. Working with students passionate about developing their robotics skills has been incredibly rewarding, allowing me to connect with LPC students beyond the classroom.
