Veterans "To Go" Dinner Menu
November 2023

To honor our veterans for the month of November, we are offering a free hot meal prepared in "to go" containers.  Often students do not have time to grab a snack or hot meal prior to their evening classes, and the campus food service is often closed.  We invite students to the Veterans Resource Center on these days and times to pick-up a hot "to go" meal.

If you know that you will be on campus and would like us to reserve a "to go" dinner for you, please call 925-424-1570, and we will place your name on the container.

Nov 1, Wed:  Spaghetti & Meatballs Dinner
Spaghetti, meatballs, & Marinara sauce with Caesar salad,
& garlic bread

Nov 2, Thurs:  Burritos - foil-wrapped assorted burritos
Chicken, carne, & veggie V - all filled with Spanish rice, refried beans
(black beans by request), and cheese

Nov 7, Tues: Chicken Dinner
Crispy fried chicken legs & thighs with mashed potatoes & gravy, green
beans & carrot medley, cole slaw, biscuits with butter.

Nov 8, Wed: House-Made Meat (or Veggie) Lasagna
Traditional meat sauce lasagna with grilled squash medley, Caesar salad, &
garlic bread

Nov 9, Thurs: Burritos - Foil-wrapped assorted burritos:
chicken, carne, & veggie V - all filled with Spanish rice, refried beans (black beans by request), and cheese.

Nov 14, Tues: Chicken Dinner

Lemon butter cod, Greek potatoes, cous cous, roasted zucchini,
& cucumber salad. GF by request.

Nov 29, Wed: Chicken (or Eggplant) Parmigiana
Breaded chicken or eggplant topped with marinara & cheese,
with fettuccine, grilled squash medley, Tuscan salad, & garlic bread

Nov 30, Thurs: Roasted Pork Loin with Maple Mustard Sauce
Tender & juicy roasted pork tenderloin stuffed with maple mustard
sauce, garlic mashed potatoes, roasted Brussels sprouts, & Caesar salad
