Accessibility Checks

Jump on Wanda's Accessibility Bandwagon, and have your Canvas course checked for web accessibility by Instructional Technology Specialist Wanda Butterly.

Wanda's Accessibility Bandwagon

Here are some specifics of the accessibility checks:

  • They're open to any instructor who uses Canvas, whether the course is online, on campus, hybrid, or HyFlex.
  • Depending on demand, Wanda might only be able to check one of your courses.
  • First come, first served.
  • Turnaround time: at least two days, depending on Wanda's workload.

Wanda will review content in a few of your modules, then discuss her findings with you. She will then train you to remediate any inaccessible content to make it ADA-compliant.
