IER Requests Due to Division Dean – 10/07/26 and Committee IER Request Review and Ranking Due – 11/20/26

  • A campus-wide email was sent with information regarding the 2026–2027 IER Request Process including instructions for completing the form and important deadlines.  IER Request Forms are due to the Deans by October 7.

  • Following the November meeting, Andrea will distribute an Excel Spreadsheet containing the submitted IER Requests, links to each request form, and a section for committee members to complete their rankings.  Completed Rankings are due to Andrea by November 20.

  • The Committee will review and discuss the compiled rankings at the December Meeting.

6. New Business

Review Classified and Administrative Position Requests Procedures

  • The Committee reviewed the new 2026–2027 CAP Request Form, which is being transitioned to InformedK12 and is currently undergoing testing before going live.  The new workflow will route completed requests to Sui Song for cost calculations before forwarding them directly to the appropriate Division Dean.  The Committee emphasized that the primary deadline Requesters need to know is November 4, and discussed simplifying the form to make this deadline and submission process clearer.

  • Committee Members also provided feedback regarding optional fields, required questions, the submission checklist, and the presentation of deadlines.  Because the form had already been reviewed and approved by the Committee in May, the Committee agreed to limit any immediate changes to non-substantive updates where possible and carry more extensive formatting or process improvements forward for the next version of the form.
