    • Student Success
    • Infrastructure and Resources
    • Governance and Decision Making
  • Standard 1 (Mission and Effectiveness): committee suggestions for evidence:
    • Tim: RAC as evidence for 1.4 (resource allocation directed by mission)
    • Karin: IPEC mission revision work, SLO and program review committees, next Educational Master Plan; 1.4 planning priorities come out of program review
    • Michael Sullivan: Guided Pathways outcomes for 1.2; honors student innovation examples
    • Stuart: Town meeting agendas and announcements for 1.5; board president’s reports; newsletters celebrating achievements

  • 2021 student accreditation survey results (used to inform the last ISER; survey only runs ahead of each ISER cycle)
  • Context: survey was conducted one year into COVID (Spring 2021)

7. Employee Accreditation Survey Results From 2021

  • ~67% agree there is a shared understanding of college strengths and weaknesses
  • ~11% disagree or strongly disagree on that item
  • PDF vs. dashboard discussion: preference for PDF summary as primary evidence artifact, with dashboard link for deeper follow-up investigation (like program review data packet model). Or ultimately, whatever is most accessible
  • AI used (tentatively) to identify which survey items were cited in the last ISER: only ~6 student survey items appeared; more staff items were used; Rajinder noted results need validation

Upcoming Surveys: Feedback Deadlines

  • Student accreditation survey administration
  • Feedback on student survey questions due: September 25
  • Suggestion: use AI (district ChatGPT) to cross-reference new standards and generate aligned survey items
  • Employee accreditation survey feedback due: October 9

RSI Training and Distance Education Preparation

  • Peer review team will access past-term Canvas shells and assess online courses against the RSI rubric
  • Standards changed: previously “regular and effective contact” with peer-to-peer focus; now emphasizing instructor-led instruction (video lectures, grading, feedback)
  • RSI rubric continuum: Initial, Engaging, Developed, Highly Developed
  • Key criteria: faculty assessing and providing feedback, responding to content questions, encouraging participation, responding in a timely manner
  • Kat and team doing a “road show” to division meetings (Arts and Humanities tomorrow) to raise awareness
  • Plan to conduct an internal spot review to anticipate peer team findings and target training
  • ISER Training: Friday, November 6, 2:00-5:00 PM (all committee members, including Danny) and other key stakeholders
  • Trainer: Kevin Bontenbal, VP at ACCJC (LPC’s liaison)
  • Danny encouraged to bring other students; Standard 2 is about student success
