Financial Aid Refund (Payment) Dates
‘Refund date’ is the date funds are scheduled to be wired to your selected refund preference through BankMobile Disbursements, a technology solution, powered by BMTX, Inc.
IMPORTANT! Late Start Classes and Financial Aid - When you enroll into late-start classes, you will not receive financial aid for those specific classes until the week the classes begin.
Your actual refund (Pell grant payment) amount is based on your units of enrollment. You receive the full award only if you are enrolled full-time (12 or more units). Your award is prorated if your enrollment is less than full-time at the time your funds are authorized.
The funds are released to BankMobile and BankMobile releases the funds to your refund preference. It will always be the following week from the disbursement date.
Please see the Pell Grant Chart link to the left to determine your pell grant eligibility based on your Expected Family Contribution and your units of enrollment.
*Students will be paid on the Refund (Payment) date after completing their financial aid file.
**If a student withdraws after they have earned 60% of their grant, the student does not owe any repayment. Students who earn no units in a term with a zero grade point average (GPA) are subject to the same repayment regulations unless the student can document that they remained in class past the 60% point of the term. The repayment regulations are referred to as 'Return to Title IV.'
