CodeJam - Student Resources
Las Positas college has a lot of resources available to students to assure their sucess in all areas of study. The resoruces are there, and it up to you to take advantage of all of them.
Face to Face Resources
- Counseling
- Need help finding a path. Need help understanding what you need to do to be a success at LPC, our counseling department is here to help!
- Tutorial Center
- A place for you to meet with other students, teachers and tutors in a relaxing, inviting environment
- Veterans Center
- If you are a United States military veteran and need anything, our Veteran's center is here for you. We honor or veterans and want to do anything we can to help you be a success.
- The Library
- The LPC library has many resources to help out our students. Computers, rooms, text books (even for your current class), and many people to help you any way they can.
- Mental Health Support
- Everyone has their issues, and we're here to help. LPC has
- Disability Resource Center
- Have diagnosed mental or physical challenges in your life? We're here to help. Everyone at LPC wants to see you be a success, and the DSPS department is here to help.
- Computer Center
- Lots of computers and lots of help!
On Line Resources
- Canvas
- Canvas is your class management system that most instructors use to provide materials, quizes/tests and assignments for easy access.
- Net Tutor
- Net Tutor is a service available through Canvas which allows you to find online tutors and get help on any subject. To access NetTutor, log into canvas, go to the class you are enrolled in where you need help, and navigate to the Net Tutor link. If you don't see that option, ask your instructor about it.
- Student Software
- If you are interested in obtaining free Microsoft software as a student at LPC, just
go to this URL and use your LPC email address (zonemail) and sign up. You'll be able
to install different operating systems, development tools, even charting software.

- If you are interested in Virtualization software (VMWare) - something all developers need to know about, fill out the document from the link below
