ESL Assessment
Students interested in enrolling in ESL courses must complete an in-person ESL assessment at the Assessment Center.
The Assessment Center is located in Building 1600, Room 1642. The assessment evaluates reading and language use skills through a combined test. There is no time limit, so please allow yourself ample time to finish.
Instructions for Taking Your ESL Assessment:
ESL assessments are available every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 10:00 a.m. While appointments are not required, we recommend arriving at least 10 minutes early to ensure a smooth check-in. Students arriving 15 minutes or more after the start time will not be permitted to take the assessment.
Please Bring:
- Valid Photo ID: A physical copy of a valid photo ID is required for identification; digital copies will not be accepted.
- Student ID (W#): If you haven't received your W# via email, visit the Admissions & Records Office to obtain it or check your application status.
Important: Assessment Center hours of operation are updated daily. Please check for any changes the night before and the morning of your assessment to ensure you have the most current information.
