Titian Lish serves as Interim Dean of the Business, Social Science, and Learning Resources Division at Las Positas College. A longtime member of the Las Positas community, she previously served as Theater Arts Coordinator and Director of the Actors Conservatory, helping to shape one of California's premier community college theater training programs.
During her tenure at Las Positas College, Titian has led the development of new academic pathways, expanded workforce and community partnerships, secured grant funding, and championed initiatives focused on equity, accessibility, and student achievement. She has overseen curriculum development, enrollment management, production operations, budgeting and facilities planning, and strategic initiatives while serving in numerous campus leadership roles, including Chair of the Resource Allocation Committee. Her work has been recognized with the Las Positas College Distinguished Teaching Award, Outstanding Service Award, and the Chabot-Las Positas Community College District Chancellor's Award.
Alongside her administrative leadership, Titian remains an active theater artist. As a director and producer, she has led productions ranging from Shakespeare and contemporary drama to large-scale musicals Macbeth, The Government Inspector, The Book of Will, Arcadia, Evil Dead: The Musical, and Heathers, among others.
Titian earned both her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees in Drama from San Francisco State University. She has also completed advanced training at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York, the British American Dramatic Academy in Oxford, and Shakespeare's Globe Education Academy in London. She is passionate about fostering inclusive learning environments where creativity, collaboration, and academic excellence prepare students to thrive both on stage and beyond.
