Foster and Kinship Care Education
The Foster and Kinship Care Education Program (FKCE) is a collaborative effort funded by the State of California to provide ongoing education and support to foster parents and kinship care providers.
Enrollment is free of charge, and our classes are open to the public. Licensed Resource Parents will be given certificates toward continuing education requirements.
In addition to our classes which are offered in Livermore, Pleasanton, Fremont and Oakland, a resource library is available that contains community resource information, publications, and videos/dvds related to parenting, foster care and kinship care issues. Books and videos are available for loan free of charge.
