VALERIE RAMIREZ
Valerie Ramirez has so many interests from cooking, reading her favorite books, and taking care of her dog. You might’ve seen her as Chef Pisghetti in Curious George and the Golden Meatball, 100 Years of Broadway, Footloose as Teen Ensemble & Musicals Go Country. Throughout her life, Valerie always wanted to try out theater or drama classes but was always too nervous or scared to step out. However, the moment she took her first drama class in her senior year of high school, she loved every second of it. When she heard about the Actor’s Conservatory Program, she thought this was her chance to step out of her comfort zone. She learned the skills of being an actor, especially in the Conservatory. She’s glad to have been a part of this amazing program here at Las Positas College. She is working on getting her AA-T in Theater Arts. She feels like she has learned so much and is proud of herself for what she has accomplished through these 2 years. She was so thrilled with every single second of the program, especially doing it with her Cohort, her friends. She would like to thank her professors and mentors for always pushing her to do the best that she can do and giving her the tools on how to be an actor. She would also like her friends and family for always being by her side through all her ups and downs. Especially since she’s been on estrogen for the past 8 months, she’s so glad to have those people in her life.
