Internship Guidelines

LAEP internships are linked to Las Positas College's three academic terms; fall, spring and summer. The duration for each internship position, and the expected hours per week interns will work, is determined by the length of each academic term. 

Fall and spring internships will consist of 15 weeks, during which interns may not work for more than 20 hours per week.

Summer term internships are 8 weeks in duration, during which interns may work up to 40 hours per week depending on their summer class schedule.
