Dance

Dance classes at Las Positas are offered in a state-of-the-art dance studio. From Introduction to Dance, and Ballet, Modern/Contemporary Jazz, Las Positas Dance offers learning opportunities for the novice and experienced dancer alike. The dance program offers a highly popular class in Dance Production/Choreography which gives students the opportunity to experience being a performer, choreographer, costume and program designer. The class culminates in a full-length concert at the end of the semester. Dance performances are enthusiastically supported by the college and local communities.
