Interior Design
The Interior Design program offers a creative approach to learning Interior Design with practical course content, work experience and overall design projects that promote graduates to the working world of being an Interior Designer. The Interior Design program offers classes for students who are changing careers, brushing up on their design skills or wanting to have fun with their own home. Our Interior Design AS degree offers students the opportunity to attend college to receive their degree while working. Often these students are placed in jobs or continue on to a 4-year college with transferable classes. Interior Design offers a unique, small program feel but a strong learning based foundation at the same time. Students are highly involved with other classmates and work collaboratively throughout the program. Work experience or internships are encouraged.

Career Opportunities
Students with either a Certificate or AS degree are qualified to work in entry level commercial and residential design. Students might work for private clients, real-estate firms and builders decorating model homes, or corporations designing offices and stores. They might also work in sales to the trade or to the public. Either degree also allows students to open their own Interior Design business.
