LPC offers a web-based tool to help you keep track of your educational progress!
Degree Works allows you to view your Student Educational Plan and confirm what courses you have completed, as well as what courses remain, toward meeting your educational objective(s). DegreeWorks matches your academic and course history, as well as your current course schedule, against the degree requirements as defined in the LPC College Catalog.*
Thinking about adding a major, or changing your goal? DegreeWorks also gives you the opportunity to explore “What If Scenarios,” to determine how your courses meet requirements for programs other than your current declared major. For questions about your educational goal or to change your Student Educational Plan, please visit a counselor.
To access Degree Works, follow these steps:
- Visit the LPC Home Page and Click on the CLASS-Web
- Sign on to CLASS-Web
- Enter your User W-ID number and PIN
- Once logged in, navigate to the Student Service Tab
- Scroll down and locate the DegreeWorks tab
If you receive an “Error 500 – Internal Service Error” or “Authentication Error,” you will need to clear your browsing data.
Instructions on how to clear your data.
For Chrome:
Go to browser settings -> advanced -> clear browsing data -> select ‘cookies and other site data’ ad cached images and files’ -> change the time range to all time -> click on clear data. You will then need to close all Chrome tabs and reopen Chrome to try logging in again.
For Internet Explorer:
Go to browser settings -> safety -> delete browsing history -> make sure everything is selected except for passwords, tracking protection, and preserve favorites -> delete. You will then need to close all Internet Explorer tabs and reopen Internet Explorer to try logging in again.
For Firefox:
Click view history -> History -> Clear Recent History -> change “Time range to clear” to everything -> make sure all history items are selected -> clear now. You will then need to close all Firefox tabs and reopen Firefox to try logging in again.
For Safari:
Click History -> Clear History -> Clear History. You will then need to close all Safari tabs and reopen Safari to try logging in again.
How to use Degree Works
NOTE: *A degree audit created in DegreeWorks is not official notification of completion of degree or certificate requirements. If a student is in a catalog year of Summer 2014 or before, they will not have a pre-existing audit in DegreeWorks. Students are strongly advised to see a counselor for more information.
