Effective Term: Fall 2027
- Proposed changes related to Common Course Numbering. The template reflects a 4-unit course incorporating literature alongside argumentation. The English department supports an increase in units allowing for adequate coverage of both literature and argumentation. This course will replace and deactivate ENG 4.
- CK: ENG 4 is being deactivated and ENGL C1003 is being proposed as new because it will replace two courses within the English ADT. The TMC for the English ADT will be updated in the fall.

There is a new Curriculum Committee Chair [Dana Nakase]; I want to thank everyone for moving items forward. There are tickets being implemented within CurrIQunet, including an activity hours update and some catalog formatting fixes.
8.3. Articulation Officer's Report
Will be attending a Cal-GETC standards meeting regarding alignment with UC transferability requirements. Area 1A/1B are works in progress, there is no chance for alignment with Area 2, Area 1C is slightly being updated, as well as Area 6. For Area 6 there is proposed language regarding historical Ethnic Studies courses that existed before CSU GE Area F to be given greater consideration.
