Course Proposals
Las Positas College follows the same procedures and rules for delivering Distance Education as all other community colleges in California. Before your course can be offered online, it must be approved for DE by the LPC Curriculum Committee. Many of our courses have already been approved, so you might not have to go through the process.
If your course hasn't been approved, you will need to complete the proposal in CurricUNET. This applies not only to online courses, but also to hybrid courses. You'll want to consult with your department chair, Dean, and/or college Distance Education Coordinator prior to beginning the proposal process.
