Commencement Programs

Staff and volunteers will be handing out programs to guests. If you would like an additional copy, please contact Julie Thornburg in Student Services at 925.424.1406.

Flowers and Balloons

Once the ceremony begins and the grads are walking in, we ask that you please not give anything [e.g., flowers, balloons] to the graduates until after the ceremony. There will be a vendor at the front of the venue selling balloons and flowers. Also, if you have a big bouquet and/or a balloon(s), we ask that you do not bring them into the bleachers with you as it will obscure the view of fellow guests. A secured outside area is provided to safely "park" them.

Interested in Volunteering?

Las Positas College students, staff and faculty that would like to volunteer to help are asked to contact Julie Thornburg.

Guests with Disabilities

For guests with physical disabilities or special medical conditions that have received a ticket to enter the PE Complex and seek special seating accommodations, please contact Julie Thornburg in Student Services at 925.424.1406 before Saturday, May 30, 2015.
